There are statistics galore that tell the state of play as it currently sits with the world of crowd funding. Having researched them thoroughly, the following list shows some of the more poignant figures that give a true indication of the landscape of this exciting form of e-commerce. From its inception some 15 years ago, it has now become one of the fastest growing forms of business on the internet, and is ever increasing in its acceptance as a real option for funding projects across a variety of sectors.

Statistics are often interpreted and misinterpreted in a manner of ways. However, there is no denying the figures above.

And the number on which all involved with successful crowd funding agree is that as far as realistic, relevant, and available funding options go across creative, commercial, charitable, and community projects, crowd funding is the number one choice.

      Thanks for your query. The figures came from research across trusted sources on the internet, starting with http://pinterest.com/gumpelmaier/infographics-crowdfunding/. Also, we sourced some of the information from http://www.crowdsourcing.org. These are two good starting points, but there is a ton of reading that was done to find (and verify) the numbers
